PERSONAL NOTE:
OVEN was a one-shop-restaurant that changed their business model for a franchise chain mostly present in food courts all over Brazil. We were asked to rethink the store design. At first glance, It was known that a complete restaurant redesign must pass through the whole brand visual communication system, not only the store design.

ABOUT


The brand internal motto is always simple and easy going for its customers, providing a amazing pizza in a shorter time as possible.

Thus, both the store design and restaurant elements should maintain these brand attributes.







VISUAL IDENTITY CONCEPT


The visual identity should be simple and dynamic at the same time should evoke the universe the product. picto-textures was created inspired by pizza slices, Basil leaves, olives and the heat of the oven.



As long as any franchise could do its own communication, it was developed a grid communication system to sustain the visual identity amongst all different stores and cities were OVEN is present.



Menu boards and other Store's communication follows the concept with clean designs and minimal graphics interferences.



STORE DESIGN CONCEPT


The store was designed based on the consumer journey, exploring all the touchpoints and how to make the process faster without loss of information for the customer, on the other hand, functional for the staff. The design also should be adaptable for different shape and sizes of stores, providing the same experience for every customer.
